Titusville Area Hospital’s imaging department has been designated a lung cancer screening center through an accreditation by the American College of Radiology.
The hospital announced in a press release that the ACR accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging and confirms that the hospital’s CT imaging services meet rigorous national standards in several areas.
This accreditation will allow for lung cancer screenings in the hospital’s imaging department, a service made possible through the use of its Philips Incisive CT unit installed in 2022.
“We are pleased to receive this accreditation from the ACR committee and grateful to our dedicated imaging staff who made this achievement possible,” said hospital CEO Lee Clinton.
