Venango Chamber to host forum for commissioner candidates

The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce will host a forum involving the four candidates for Venango County commissioner on Wednesday, Oct. 25, in Rhoades Auditorium at Venango Campus on West First Street in Oil City.

The forum will begin at 6:45 p.m., and a meet and greet will precede the event from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.

Each of the candidates will have five minutes to introduce themselves, and then the candidates will participate in a moderated question and answer session.

The four commissioner candidates who will be listed on the Nov. 7 ballot are Democrats Albert Abramovic and Mathew Beith and Republicans Sam Breene and Ken Bryan.

Voters will choose three candidates for the three commissioner positions.

The forum is free and open to the public.
