New pharmacy has opened in Oil City

From staff reports

Darling’s Oil City Pharmacy, located at 811 Grandview Road, has opened for business.

“Oil City is the perfect place for a locally owned and independent pharmacy,” said owner Chris Darling. “It has that small-town feel, and the residents value the kind of personalized service you just can’t get at a larger, cookie-cutter chain store,” he said.

“As an independent pharmacy, we are better able to take the time to get to know our customers and work for the best solution for their needs,” Darling added.

Darling, who has been a pharmacist for 22 years, has been the owner of Darling Apothecary since 2005, which includes Darling’s Sugar Grove Pharmacy and Crone’s Gift and Medical Supply in Warren County, Sprouts Drug Store in Potter County, Darling’s Home Care in Warren and Titusville, and now the Oil City location.

Pharmacists on staff at the Oil City store are Mike Cameron, Pat Darling and Mark Ruby.
