St. Stephen students honored by Franklin CDA chapter

St. Stephen School students who were winners in an education contest sponsored by the Franklin chapter of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas are pictured here. Several students from St. Stephen School in Oil City were honored at a year-end picnic for their winning entries in an education contest hosted by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Thomas of St. Patrick Parish in Franklin. The students competed in art, poetry, photography, and essay categories, divided by age groups, with multiple first-place winners including Alivia Warner—who also earned first place in photography at the state level. Teachers Mary Anne Oliver and Shannon Goreczny guided the students, and Paula Klinger coordinated the event.
