Franklin state police are searching for information on incidents that caused thousands of dollars of damages to two local golf courses on July 3.
A group of individuals took six golf carts from Whitetail Run Golf Course on Sunville Road in Oakland Township, police said. The culprits drove the vehicles around the course and destroyed greens along with the carts they used, police said.
Damages are estimated at $43,500, police said.
A similar incident occurred that night at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course on Route 427 in Franklin, police said.
