Bluegrass festival canceled

From staff reports

Organizers of the Oil Country Bluegrass Festival have announced the event for 2022 will be canceled.

“This was a tough call, but we feel it is for the best right now to keep people healthy as this pandemic lingers on,” said Cinnamon Evans, director of Venango County Court Appointed Special Advocates, which co-sponsors the annual festival along with the Oil City Arts Council.

Evans noted the next bluegrass festival is being planned for Feb. 18, 2023, at the Moose lodge in Oil City.
