Susan Hileman, the Northwest Industrial Resource Center strategic business advisor, will lead a workshop from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at the Franklin Industrial and Commercial Development Authority for small manufacturers to get started on or move forward with a succession plan.
The workshop will focus on how to evaluate options and when to choose them, key components of a good succession plan, how and when to transition out of a company, the importance of estate and financial planning for an exit strategy, family dynamics and the need for outside management or other options, as well as a company’s benchmark, value and future stability.
There is no cost for the program, which will be held at 191 Howard St. in Franklin.
