The Clarion-Limestone School Board’s recent reorganizational meeting brought major leadership changes as newly elected members Bobby Smith and Thomas Walter were sworn in alongside incumbents, and Smith was chosen as the new board president in a close 5-4 vote, replacing Nathaniel Parker, with Christopher Mogus elected vice president. The board voted to change its meeting time to 6 p.m. and move meetings to the high school cafeteria for better accessibility. Several committee appointments were reaffirmed, and Smith’s election marks the board’s largest presence of Constitution Party members.
