Mason Gourley and Alicyn Burford have been named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for Clarion Area High School’s Class of 2025. Gourley, son of Braun and Holly Gourley, is a standout student-athlete, serving as president of the National Honor Society and excelling in wrestling, soccer, and track. He will attend the U.S. Coast Guard Academy to study civil engineering and continue wrestling. Burford, daughter of Brian and Kelly Burford, has led in both academics and athletics, serving as volleyball team captain and participating in Science Olympiad and Math Competition teams. She plans to major in biology at Slippery Rock University and pursue a career in optometry.
