Clarion County auditor sworn in to fill vacancy

Eric Krouse of Clarion was sworn in Monday as a Clarion County auditor, filling a position that had effectively been vacant for nearly two years. The vacancy originated when Jackie Griebel, elected in November 2023, declined the position, requiring her replacements to be Democrats. County officials said no auditor reports were delayed during the vacancy.
