Judge Sara Seidle-Patton recalled Jefferson County’s success with employers providing buses, while Commissioner Ted Tharan suggested inmates could even assist with moving items into the county complex across from the jail. The board also approved purchasing a new convection oven for the jail kitchen and noted preparations are underway for the spring state inspection. The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 3.
