Community agencies and partners will conduct the 2026 Homeless Point-in-Time Count on Jan. 22 as part of a nationwide effort to identify individuals and families experiencing homelessness and better connect them to services. The one-day count captures a snapshot of homelessness in places not meant for habitation, with data used to guide funding, improve services and develop long-term solutions. Those experiencing homelessness, or who know someone who is, are encouraged to participate by calling 814-226-8910, Ext. 100, where trained staff can provide information, resources and support.
