Conservation Hall of Fame induction ceremonies set

From staff reports

The 2022 Venango County Conservation Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Rhoades Auditorium at PennWest-Clarion’s Venango Campus in Oil City.

The Conservation Hall of Fame honors local men and women who have made significant and lasting contributions to conservation and the environment.

Created in 2011 by the Oil City Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America in partnership with Venango Campus, the intent is for their stories to be known and serve as an inspiration to future generations.

Friends of conservation are urged to join in honoring the 2022 inductees who will be introduced as well as all current members of Conservation Hall of Fame.

A brief punch and cookies reception will follow the ceremonies.
