The Franklin Area School District is seeking original two-dimensional artwork — such as paintings, drawings, textiles, or printmaking — from artists 18 and older for its 2025–26 Legacy Project art collection at the high school. Seniors in the Class of 2026 will anonymously select one piece to purchase and display alongside existing works by both local and national artists. Submissions are due by Jan. 31, and the chosen piece will be revealed at the end of the school year. The Legacy Project, inspired by a similar initiative from the Great Depression era, aims to build a lasting student-curated art collection for the school’s hallways.
