Franklin Jr. High School Talent Show makes its return

After a seven-year hiatus since 2019, the Franklin Jr. High School Talent Show will return on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The event, which is free admission, will showcase the diverse talents of students from sixth through eighth grade and offer them a platform to shine for the community.

The talent show is a cherished tradition at Franklin Jr. High, and this year’s lineup features a variety of acts, including singing, dancing, cheerleading routines and stand-up comedy.

“The show not only entertains but also encourages confidence, teamwork and self-expression among the participants,” said Amanda Lewis, who is directing the show along with Sandy Lewis. “Whether you are drawn by the power of song, the rhythm of dance, the energy of cheer, or the laughter brought by comedy, the Franklin Jr. High Talent Show offers something for everyone.”

The school and participants are excited to revive the Jr. High talent show and support the arts.
