A Franklin man has been charged with multiple felony sexual assault offenses after allegedly assaulting a woman at her Rocky Grove residence while she was unconscious. According to Sugarcreek police, the woman reported that Jacob Webber, 30, assaulted her several times between Jan. 11 and March 4 while she was in a deep sleep caused by prescribed medication. Suspecting the assaults, she began recording video on her phone before going to bed and later provided footage to police that allegedly showed Webber assaulting her. Webber faces several felony charges, including rape of an unconscious victim and sexual assault, and is scheduled for arraignment and a preliminary hearing later this month.
