A Franklin man, 66-year-old Larry Boocks II, has been charged with 50 felony counts of child sexual abuse material after investigators say two electronic devices found in his home contained 50 images depicting girls ages 6 to 14. The charges stem from a cyber tip received by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, which led to a search of Boocks’ Elm Street residence on Jan. 13. Boocks was arraigned the same day, jailed after failing to post bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Wednesday in Central Court.
