Franklin man taken into custody for several warrants

Sugarcreek police and the Venango County Sheriff’s office teamed up to take a Franklin man who was wanted on multiple warrants from both Sugarcreek police and the sheriff’s office into custody Friday.

Sugarcreek police said they learned of the whereabouts of Jedd Fuller, 31, through an investigation.

Police said in a criminal complaint that on April 26, Fuller started an argument with a woman at a shared residence, and when she tried to leave, Fuller began to “yell and scream” and threw objects at her, striking her in the head with a dog kennel.

Once the woman was in her car, Fuller jumped on the hood and punched and broke the windshield, also “screaming vulgarities and threatening” her, according to the complaint.

Fuller also pulled a wiper blade, mirror and handle off the car, and after driving enough to get him off the car, the woman then drove off “in terror for her physical safety,” the complaint said.

Fuller had pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges with the same woman in 2017, police said. He is facing a felony count of stalking and misdemeanor counts of simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief for that incident, police said.

Sugarcreek police said in a separate press release Monday that Fuller was found to have a plastic bag containing methamphetamine when they searched him Friday after his arrest.

He was charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

And in a separate case, Fuller is facing a felony charge of possession of a firearm prohibited.

He was arraigned Monday and is being lodged in the Venango County jail after being unable to post bail.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled July 19 in Central Court.
