The Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry has announced that Rimersburg native Evelyn Bliss, the reigning U.S. National Champion in the women’s javelin throw, will serve as Grand Marshal for the Independence Health System Clarion Hospital “Tournament of Leaves Parade” on Saturday at noon in downtown Clarion.
At just 20 years old, Bliss has quickly become one of USA Track & Field’s brightest young stars after capturing the national title in July 2025.
This year’s parade, part of the annual Autumn Leaf Festival, is expected to be one of the largest yet, with 139 units registered to participate.
Reserved chair seating is available for $5 each at the Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry, 538 South Street, Clarion.
