Grove City College plans holiday events

Grove City College is ushering in the Christmas season with Light-Up Night, a series of student-led concerts, and its beloved candlelight service. Daily lunchtime Carnegie Christmas concerts begin Monday and run through Dec. 4, showcasing a variety of vocal and instrumental ensembles. Light-Up Night will take place Tuesday at 6 p.m., featuring the illumination of the star atop Smith Hall along with carols and treats. On Dec. 4 and 5, more than 150 student musicians will present “A Musical Christmas” in Ketler Auditorium, and on Dec. 7, Harbison Chapel will host two traditional candlelight services filled with liturgy, hymns, and music. All events are free and open to the public.
