Grove City resident pleads guilty to child exploitation

A Grove City man, Michael William Boston, 40, pleaded guilty in federal court to transporting and possessing child sexual abuse material, including more than 1,500 images and videos. His offenses, which occurred in 2022 and 2023, carry a possible sentence of five to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Jan. 20. The case, prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Kelly Locher, was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and Pennsylvania State Police as part of the DOJ’s Project Safe Childhood initiative.
