Despite bouts of wind and rain, record crowds turned out at Two Mile Run County Park for the R100 3D Archery Shoot, the final stop on the national tour. More than 775 participants — the highest attendance of any R100 event this year — filled the courses with compound bows, recurves, and crossbows as they took aim at life-size animal replicas. Highlights included themed courses like “Safari” and “Steel Forest,” a kids’ area featuring a dinosaur target, and the popular “Iron Buck” shoot, which tested accuracy against a steel-framed deer. Organizers noted it was the busiest Sunday of the season, drawing both seasoned hunters and first-time participants eager to sharpen their skills ahead of hunting season.
