International Bowhunters Organization’s Triple Crown is a bullseye success in Venango

Despite a soggy start from heavy rain and flooding Saturday morning, the IBO Triple Crown archery event in Venango County carried on smoothly, with archers adjusting quickly to the conditions. The professional shoot-off was delayed but still drew attention, while the Future Bowhunters Competition brought together young archers from several states, showcasing budding talent and family traditions in the sport. Event organizers emphasized the importance of a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, offering prizes and even free ice cream to the kids. By Sunday, the park was bustling with campers, and the weekend wrapped up on a high note with a slightly delayed awards ceremony.
