The Franklin Fine Arts Council has announced the 10 contestants for the 2025 Taste of Talent vocal competition, a beloved summer tradition held in Bandstand Park that draws thousands of spectators. This year’s performers are Tim Craver (Franklin), Mike Craig (Oil City), Brooklyn Culver (Polk), Mason Davis (Centerville), Alexis Kline and Madolyn Williams (both of Franklin), Olivia Moorehead (Seneca), Matthew Myers and Beth Schmader (both of Oil City), and Herb Morton (Corry). The competition kicks off June 25 during Franklin’s Fourth of July Festivities and continues each Wednesday in July, with semifinals on August 2 and the grand finale on August 3. The winner will receive a \$1,000 prize, with additional awards for semifinalists. Fans are encouraged to follow the event online using hashtags like #TasteOfTalent and #FranklinAlwaysEventful.
