The six-week collection of material — totaling 4,062 pounds and filling 211 boxes — came from 18 churches, 25 individuals, a Thrift store and two libraries.

Some of the areas participating in the project included Oil City, Franklin, Cooperstown, Polk, Barkeyville, Cochranton, Knox, Jackson Center, Erie, Meadville, Edinboro, Conneaut Lake, Saegertown and Springboro.
