Nancy J. King of Franklin is celebrating her 90th birthday, marking a life rooted in resilience, family, and community. The daughter of Plummer and Ethel Cross, she grew up with three siblings and later married Ralph “Mike” King, raising seven children and building a large, loving extended family. Nancy enjoyed reading, working in local retail stores, and sharing her famous baked goods — especially her coveted brownies and holiday banana bread. Her memories range from childhood air raid drills to joyful family gatherings, which remain her greatest treasure. Now living at Colonial Manor, she continues to cherish time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will gather to honor her milestone birthday.
