Nelson Best, born April 25, 1935, in Knox, is celebrating his 90th birthday. A dedicated worker, he spent 44 years at Joy and another 10 at Walmart before retiring at age 80. He was married to Lois Burnett for 63 years, and together they raised five children. Nelson now enjoys sports, bingo, and time with his companion Janet Wice. A proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Nelson’s life is marked by hard work, family, and a love for adventure in his younger years, including racing and riding his Harley.
