Florence “Flo” Stricek of Oil City is celebrating her 90th birthday today, marking a life filled with family, fashion, faith and community involvement. A Curwensville High School honor student, Flo married her high school sweetheart, Henry Stricek, in 1955, raised three daughters, worked in several local boutiques, co-owned Henry’s Riverside and remained active in numerous civic and church organizations, all while staying stylish, sharp and deeply connected to her community.
