North Clarion School District will host its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. in the high school cafeteria and Veterans Memorial Park. The event, led by Junior Historian officers, will feature keynote speaker Traci Carter, a U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps veteran. Students from both the elementary and high school will honor veterans with patriotic songs and poems. Following the assembly, a ceremony at the Veterans Park will include a wreath-laying, a 21-gun salute, and the playing of “Taps.” A luncheon for veterans will also be held at noon in the high school library.
