Northern Pennsylvania Regional College hires 4 faculty members

The Northern Pennsylvania Regional College has hired its four core faculty members.

The disciplines hired for are English and communications, natural sciences, manufacturing and technology, and early childhood education.

Ron Pollock, the natural sciences instructor, is a Clarion native. He is returning from Texas where he was a biology and biotechnology adjunct faculty member at Lone Star College and Austin Community College, respectively.

He was also an instructor at the Harmony Science Academy and served as the science department chair since 2015.

Pollock’s home office and teaching site is still to be determined with his first classes being taught in Spring 2020.

The remaining three faculty members are English instructor Benjamin Blood, early childhood instructor Leigh Anne Kraemer-Naser and manufacturing technology instructor Frank O’Connell.

The Northern Pennsylvania Regional College is providing education to a nine-county region (Cameron, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, McKean, Potter, Venango and Warren).

Class instruction is delivered via live, interactive audio-visual communication technology that connects classrooms together across the region.
