Oil City will honor veterans Tuesday with its annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony, beginning at Justus Park and ending at the Oil City VFW, where a ceremony and luncheon will follow. Cindy Hargenrader will serve as keynote speaker, and the event will also launch the city’s new Hometown Heroes banner program, allowing residents to sponsor banners honoring local veterans. Meanwhile, Rocky Grove High School will host a veterans’ breakfast, assembly, and art contest from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m.
