PennDOT is inviting the public to review plans for its “Protect Bridges” project, which aims to repair and reinforce 28 bridges across northwest Pennsylvania to better withstand future flooding, including one in Venango County and three in Forest County. Construction is set to take place over multiple seasons through 2029, with project details and public comment opportunities available through PennDOT’s District 1 website.
