PennWest Clarion’s 30th annual dinner celebrates proponents of equity

PennWest Clarion celebrated its 30th annual Student Senate Equity Awards and Dinner on November 19, honoring individuals and groups for their contributions to advancing equity on campus and in the community. The event, themed “Celebrating 30 Years of Connecting Students through Inclusive Engagement,” featured keynote speeches from Rogers Laugand, assistant VP for DEI Student Support, and Ron Radaker, director of the Center for Access and Success. Awardees included the Little Leaders Project, Dr. Brandon Packard, Dr. Kevan Yenerall, Katelyn Campbell, the Golden Eagles football team, Kennedy Brown, and Selamawit Yilma. The celebration continues a tradition initiated 30 years ago to promote diversity and inclusion.
