The 85th annual Lucinda St. Joseph Church July 4th celebration will be held Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the parish grounds, featuring all-you-can-eat chicken and ham dinners, games, live entertainment, a quilt auction, and a grand prize drawing worth over $10,000. Entertainment begins at 10 a.m., and festivities include face painting, a balloon artist, and a quilt tent, with both indoor and outdoor dining available. The celebration continues with the Liberty 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, July 6, at the Lucinda Train Station, starting at 8 a.m. Proceeds from both events will benefit St. Joseph Catholic School.
