More than 100 people attended the eighth annual “Shine a Light on Suicide” Night Kayak, held at Two Mile Run County Park on Saturday evening to spread the message of suicide prevention and awareness in Venango County. Held to kick off National Suicide Prevention Month in September, the event drew floats, canoes and kayaks to the Crosby Beach area starting at about 6 p.m., many of them decorated with fairy lights, strobes, balloons, spotlights and flags.
