Sligo crowns new Miss Purr-fect

Winners of the annual Miss Purr-fect Sligo Pageant are shown.

At the annual Miss Purr-fect Sligo Pageant that was hosted by Balanced Buddha Gives Back, the event raised $6,500 for local cat rescues.

The event also received 1,782 pounds of litter, 222 pounds of dry cat food, 1,100 cans of wet food, 860 toys and 371 other cat-related items. Contestants ranging in age from 12 months to 21-years-old competed for the title Miss Purr-fect.

This year’s titles went to Baby Miss Queen, Bayslie McLaine; Toddler Miss Queen, Maddy McNerney; Tiny Miss Queen, Kendal Brown; Little Miss Queen, Juniper Sharpe; Junior Miss Queen, Izzy Brothers; Miss Queen, Addison Schmader; Directors Choice, Avery Kaefer and Jaclyn Winterhalter; Talent Winner, Juniper Sharpe; People’s Choice, Juliette Baldwin; Referral Queen, Madison Philips; Supreme, Hailey Sharpe; Grand Supreme, Juliette Baldwin; Charity Queens, Izzy Brothers and Bayslie McLaine.
