Students from seven schools compete at Clarion Envirothon

Students from seven schools across Clarion, Jefferson, and Forest counties competed in the Clarion County Conservation District’s Envirothon at Clear Creek State Park. Fourteen teams tested their knowledge in subjects like wildlife, soils, forestry, and aquatics, with a special focus on forest stewardship. The event featured both written and hands-on testing stations. Students prepared throughout the year with help from teachers or advisors, and prizes were awarded to the top three teams, including trophies and the opportunity for the highest-scoring teams from each county to advance to the Pennsylvania Envirothon.
