Surgery puts woman back on the road to an active life

After a near-paralyzing fall in early 2024, 56-year-old Jill Moore of Shippenville underwent spine surgery by Dr. Jacob Smith at UPMC Northwest that restored her mobility. Once unable to hold a pen, she immediately regained function post-surgery and now rides her e-bike daily, crediting Smith’s skill and the availability of advanced care in Clarion for her recovery.
