Titusville Hospital receives vaccine

From staff reports

Titusville Area Hospital announced it has received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and plans to provide it to their employees, as well as selected health care and emergency service organizations.

“I am extremely grateful that TAH is one of 100 locations in Pennsylvania to receive the first shipment of vaccine,” Titusville Area Hospital CEO Lee Clinton said in a news release.

At this time, the hospital is not able to vaccinate the general public, in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention distribution guidelines, the release said. There has been no indication from Pfizer if additional shipments will be sent to the hospital, which applied in November to receive the vaccine.

The release did not specify how many doses of the vaccine were received, and a call to the hospital late Tuesday afternoon was not returned.
