Town goes nuts for 3 days

New Bethlehem celebrated its annual Peanut Butter Festival with three days of fun, honoring the town’s peanut butter roots. Nearly 100 vendors filled Gumtown Park, where highlights included a peanut butter cook-off, a Jeep invasion, a parade, fireworks, a car show, and the crowning of the peanut king and queen. New mascots, Buddy McNutty and Jelly Mae, made their debut, while events like a 5K run, duck races, a tractor show, and children’s contests added to the lively weekend.
