United Way’s Impact Grants to open Friday

From staff reports

United Way of Venango County’s Impact Grant enrollment period will run from March 1-31.

These grants are accessible to any registered 501(c)3 non-profit in Venango County. All applicants’ programs must align with the focus areas of health, education and income.

Applications for health programs will be accepted and any new programs applying for education or income support will fall under the “Emerging Needs” category.

United Way’s Health Impact Grants operate on a three-year cycle, commencing in January 2025 and concluding in December 2027.

Emerging Needs Impact Grants, on the other hand, follow a one-year cycle starting in January 2025. Programs applying under Emerging Needs will need to reapply annually until their impact category is scheduled for the three-year grant cycle.

To apply for a grant, visit unitedwayvc.org and go to the Community Partners section.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee and, if necessary, a presentation will be scheduled.

Funding for these grants will be available in 2025 through quarterly reimbursements.
