Vehicle hits credit union building

Caution tape seals off a damaged area of the Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union on East First Street in Oil City on Monday morning. Oil City police said no one was injured when a vehicle crashed into the back of the credit union at about 9:20 a.m. Police said they believe the driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal before the vehicle hit the building. The credit union, on its Facebook page, said the Oil City branch will be closed until further notice due to the damage. (By Makayla Keating)
