The Venango County Relay For Life will celebrate 40 years of the national fundraiser against cancer with its annual event this weekend at Venango Technology Center in Oil City. Running from 4 p.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday, the free event will feature activities honoring survivors and remembering those lost. Highlights include the opening ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, a survivor dinner at 6 p.m., special themed laps, live entertainment, Touch-A-Truck, face painting, massages, and the luminaria ceremony at 9 p.m. Sunday’s activities will include outdoor games, a mini-carnival, raffles, contests, and more, with food available for purchase throughout the event.
