Man arrested for fake bomb threat at Home Depot

A Sugar Valley Lodge resident, Justin Stewart, 27, was arrested Tuesday after allegedly calling in a fake bomb threat to Home Depot in Cranberry Township, prompting an evacuation. Police said Stewart claimed to have planted a homemade pipe bomb, but later admitted no bomb existed, stating he wanted to be sent to state prison. He faces multiple felony charges, including terroristic threats, and is being held in Venango County Jail pending a preliminary hearing.
