Raymond Beichner, property manager at the Scenic Rivers YMCA in Oil City, recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, of Oil City.
According to Jennifer McClellan, YMCA senior associate director, the auxiliary board reached out to the YMCA because of how nice the YMCA’s American flag looks during its daily display, which is a reflection of Beichner’s care of the flag, and the overall patriotic mindset and commitment to the nation held at the YMCA.
“We are very excited that Ray has been acknowledged for his commitment to the flag and our country,” McClellan said. “He takes pride in his job and the appearance of our facility.”
