Venango County Youth Philanthropy Group is collecting slippers to be donated to residents at two local nursing homes.
The slipper drive will be held through Monday, May 27.
Slippers will be given to people residing at Oil City Healthcare & Rehabilitation and Oakwoods Heights.
Handmade or store-bought nonskid and regular slippers may be taken to Oil City Middle School.
Pickup arrangements may be made by calling Mary Myers at (814) 221-1552 or by sending her an email at mmyers@smilesamericorps.org.
