3 juveniles facing several charges in Franklin incident

Three male juveniles from Franklin are facing a handful of charges, including kidnapping, in connection with an incident involving another Franklin male.

Franklin city police said that on Aug. 20, the three juveniles restricted the movement and freedom of the other male and assaulted him.

The three suspects refused to allow the other male to leave from their location and then forced him to travel to different locations within Franklin, police said. The three suspects also assaulted the other male while at the various locations, police said.

The victim was treated at UPMC Northwest in Seneca for various injuries, police said.

All three suspects were charged with one felony count of kidnapping, one felony count of witness or victim intimidation, one misdemeanor count of unlawful restraint, one misdemeanor count of terroristic threats, one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment and one misdemeanor count of harassment.

The names of the suspects were withheld by police due to the fact they are juveniles.
