Mercer County Coroner John Libonati has identified the three teenagers who died as the result of a vehicle accident in Lake Township on Thursday evening.
Libonati identified them as James Harrison, 18, of Grove City; Harmony Leige, 17, of Mercer; and Aliya Harvey, 17, of Jackson Center.
Each death, Libonati said, was due to the injuries suffered in the crash.
Mercer state police said Harrison, who was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Impala north on Skunk Road at about 9 p.m., attempted to negotiate a left curve. Harrison then lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to travel off the east side of the road.
Police said the vehicle then hit a cluster of trees, which caused the vehicle to spin before it came to a final stop. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire and become fully engulfed.
Jackson Center volunteer firefighters also responded, police said.
