Recent damage to the Little League ball field in Hasson Heights has prompted Oil City police to issue a reminder that ball fields within the city, as well as other parks, are not for use by animals, regardless of whether they are under control of their owners.
Police said people are not permitted on or inside the ball field areas with their animals, and future incidents or violations of such could be enforced by law enforcement under city ordinances.
Police said signs and notices will be placed at the facilities to remind citizens that they are not to have animals on the ball fields.
