Franklin state police are investigating an incident involving a Polk Center employee who showed up to work under the influence of a controlled substance.
The incident occurred May 5 and involved a 60-year-old man.
Police said the employee wasn’t able to stand up straight and speak clearly when he showed up to work. He had two syringes in his jacket pocket and one was empty while the other was filled with a clear liquid, police said.
Police seized the syringes and told the employee he would be charged, police said.
